Help! Terrible connection to EA

Well i have a pretty good connection to the internet but when i get on BC2 it has trouble connecting to Ea online and I can barely play. Any help would be appreciated.

do you have your PC turned on? if you do that may be the problem (mine connection can't handle ps3 and pc lol)
