This is important

Post  luked5678910 on Sun Jul 31, 2011 2:00 pm

i find this annoying, i will be recon. i see an enemy run past, into a building near me and someone in my squad whos assualt is near me , i press select about 5 6 times, to ask for ammo, by the time i am given ammo its always to late to thrw motion sensors. i end up throwing it the end up in room next down 3 seconds later i see assualt guy dead, 5 seconds later im dead. its happend to me about 4 times. if someone in my squad using assualt , spawn on me n just leave an ammo package for me.

if that happens with me it's normally because I have the volume on my TV off, I try to keep an eye on the radar to see if someone is pinging me for ammo when I am assault.

I run assault mostly so I'll try my best to drop the ammo asap on your call.

Making this game work and the key to victory in most circumstances is down to communication!! Many of us already have headsets but for those of you that don't, your game is seriously compromised. It doesn't cost much for a reasonable one so come on!!! You'll find that many of the top clans on here are in comms with each other, do you wanna be the best???

I agree with you Ash.... Thats the reason a rarely play recon, not because I hate the Class but because even if I spam the "Hey I need some Ammo" I get it all late. Most of our clan members do know when to give out ammo though. If to anyone I am the one who didn't give u ammo my appologies. I have started to do something different which is 'leave an ammo box when I spawn on somebody' this is has come to a lot of "thank's budy"' Very Happy
This is why I think Battlefield 3 should have a better way of talking to team members on the battle, and not just the squad. The Squad leader should have the ability to communicate to the team I think.

I've been reading that you were able to do that on BF2, at least the commander could. About the ammo thing, you can always pick up kits and remember you won't loose your specializations, by now you have all seen those recon montages where he picks ups medic, assault, engineer and keeps raping. I just hope that in BF3 the best guns will be on the assault/medic and engineer kits so players are "forced" to adapt and pick up kits instead of camping with the support class throwing grenade after grenade, at least the they won't have noob tubes
