Back to Karkand

Hey guys! Is is true that the new maps can only be played in conquest mode? Or is there a rush mode as well?

I'm pretty sure they will put rush in there too.

Could understand if they were only conquest as they are bf2 pc maps which were only playable as conquest.

Pretty sure that they will support all game modes on each map, that was one of DICE's big sells on the BF3 maps.

However whether they will consider Conquest and Conquest Assault to be different game modes, I don't know.

Only problem is it's 1.3 GB and my crappy interwebs here are gonna take another 2 hrs! FmL.

If you haven't played already...

Every map has every mode including Rush and some form of Conquest or Conquest Assault. Don't really understand the Conquest Assault mode. It seems one sided. One side has all the flags and the lead. 230 vs 200 to start. The other team is supposed to take it back.

I also do not really understand conquest assault.



If the team that starts with all the flags, but no base, loses all the flags, then they can only squad spawn. So if all your squad die, you've gotta wait for team mates who survived to capture one again..!

I think the new maps look great so far.

The new (rehashed BF2 maps FYI) are way better then BF3 current maps. BF3 maps have maybe 1-3 paths to get to objectives. It's all bottlenecks. So artificial.

Strike at Karkand feels like a real town. You can go into every building, alley, balcony, whatever. Now THESE feel like Battlefield. They should fire the guys who did BF3 maps and rehire these guys.
